Grammar links and self study

So here are some resources that will help you with grammar study

Good luck!

Grammar websites

BBC Bitesize

BBC Bitesize is a great way to learn grammar for beginners and younger learners - its also helpful for older learners who want a relaxing, easy way to study (it even has games for those who get bored easily)

It has help for all levels of school learners (for all subjects, not just English)

It also has help with literature and other English related subjects.

Kahn Academy

The Kahn Academy is fundamentally an online school. It ranges for example from 1+1 to University level mathematics. For English, it also gives a lot of basic advice for language beginners.

The benefit of this site is that it either has captions (subtitles) or closed captions.

For higher level videos (economics for example) all have transcripts.

It is arguably one of the best free, online learning sites.

The Englishpage

Honestly - one of the most practical and helpful grammar pages I've ever used. The diagrams are particularly helpful for students who want to truly understand how the grammar works without the need for complicated rules and explanations.

The page also has a lot of examples of how the grammar is used and covers the most important grammar types.
